About A Natural Beautie: From Nurse to PMU Visionary

PMU Artist - ANB CEO
YOU'RE WELCOME...

My name is Lisa Bee 🐝

I’m the Founder and CEO of A Natural Beautie—a retired nurse of 24 years who turned pain into passion. My journey into the beauty industry began in 2015, when I used makeup daily to cover my vitiligo (which I’ve since healed naturally—ask me how!). The countless compliments on my makeup artistry sparked a realization: I had a gift for enhancing beauty. That’s when I decided to take my skills to the next level by enrolling in professional training.

Discovering My True Calling in PMU

After completing my makeup certification, I quickly realized traditional cosmetics weren’t my passion. I craved something more transformative—something that could give women long-lasting confidence. In 2016, I experimented with lash extensions but felt discouraged when the results didn’t align with my vision. Then, in 2017, I discovered Permanent Makeup (PMU), specifically Ombré Microshading for eyebrows. It was a revelation.

Permanent Makeup wasn’t just a service; it was a life-changing solution. I saw how it empowered women to wake up with flawless, defined brows—no daily makeup routine required. The blend of artistry and technical precision in PMU resonated with my nursing background, where attention to detail and care for others were second nature.

Becoming a PMU Industry Leader

For the past 6 years, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering and innovating Permanent Makeup techniques. Today, I’m a 5x certified Master Brow Artist and Trainer with credentials from top Atlanta, California, Texas, and Chicago instructors. My signature 6D Ombré Microshading technique stands out because it’s:

  • Pain-free: Using advanced methods to ensure comfort.
  • Natural-looking: Hair-like strokes and gradient shading for dimension.
  • Long-lasting: Results that stay fresh for 1–3 years.

But my mission goes beyond services. I’m deeply passionate about teaching PMU to others. There’s nothing more rewarding than equipping aspiring artists with the skills to build their own thriving Permanent Makeup businesses.

Building the A Natural Beautie Empire

What started as a PMU studio has blossomed into a multi-faceted brand:

  1. In-Studio PMU Services: Where clients become lifelong members of the “Beautie” family.
  2. PMU Supply Store: Curated tools and pigments for professionals.
  3. A Natural Beautie Collection: A fashion line celebrating confidence (scrunchies, accessories, and more!).
  4. Skincare Line: Radiant skin is the perfect canvas for PMU.

Why PMU Matters: More Than Just Brows

Permanent Makeup isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about restoring confidence. I’ve worked with:

  • Cancer survivors reclaiming their brows after chemotherapy.
  • Busy moms who deserve low-maintenance beauty.
  • Vitiligo warriors (like my past self) seeking symmetry.

Every appointment is a chance to transform not just appearances but self-perception.

The Future of A Natural Beautie

I’m committed to pushing the PMU industry forward through:

  • Education: Hosting workshops and mentoring artists.
  • Innovation: Developing proprietary techniques and products.
  • Community: A space where women uplift each other.

What to Expect

6D Microshading powder eyebrows require two appointments.

-The first appointment includes shaping & mapping to create symmetry and your perfect brow.

My signature technique has little to no pain. You will be provided home care instruction. You can experience mild flaking. The healing period is 7-14 days.

-The second appointment is a touch up performed 6-8 weeks after the first session.

This allows enough time for the ink in the epidermis to heal and the color to settle into your skin. In the touch up appointment, the artist can see how your skin has received the ink and make any necessary corrections.
